It is located right at the entrance of the Toratoriyama mountain trail.
Please open the gate to enter, and make sure to close it again when you leave.

From the Expo to Iitate Village

The Wolf Benches by Tomoko Konoike, which were exhibited at the Osaka–Kansai Expo, have now begun their journey across Japan as part of the Medicine Infrastructure Project.

The Wolf Bench / Animal Drawings was installed on November 10, 2025, at Yamatsumi Shrine in Iitate Village, Soma District, Fukushima—where traditions honoring wolves and white wolves still remain.
During the shrine’s annual festival from Thursday, December 4 to Saturday, December 6, the finger puppets will also take part in the celebration.
